Hylands Estate has been awarded a £12,000 Arts Council grant to support a two-year programme of live music in The Stables courtyard.
The city centre will be transformed by a festival of street art later in May.
Residents are invited to join Chelmsford’s Holocaust Memorial Commemoration Day happening on Wednesday 27 April at the Civic Centre.
