But don’t worry, saving energy isn’t just about big investments. There are plenty of small, simple changes you can make that also make a big difference.

Why cutting carbon at home matters

Did you know that as of 2023, heating and powering our homes accounts for 20% of the UK’s greenhouse gas emissions? By switching to sustainable energy sources and making smarter choices, we can lower energy bills, reduce carbon emissions, and take a stand against climate change.

What’s the goal?

While 43% of the UK’s electricity (as of 2023) already comes from renewable sources, much of our heating and additional energy use still depends on fossil fuels. The campaign aims to cut energy consumption at home, reducing demand for fossil fuels while helping you save money and shrink your carbon footprint.
