Essex County Council Springfield Division election results

Richard Lee of the Liberal Democrats has been elected as councillor for the Springfield Division of Essex County Council.

The result was announced at Chelmsford's Civic Centre on Friday 19 June.

This election, which was held on Thursday 18 June, was originally due to take place on Thursday 7 May, but was delayed following the death of a candidate.

Richard Lee, Liberal Democrats: 3203 votes

Chris Rees, Green Party: 216 votes

Tomy Sebastian, Reform UK: 1616 votes

David John Wilkinson, The Conservative Party Candidate: 723 votes

Turnout: 39.27%
