Chelmsford Theatre’s action-packed family Easter
With Easter coming up fast, Chelmsford Theatre has families covered for entertainment over the school holidays with a diverse programme of hilarious, immersive, and mesmerising shows.
From dogs dreaming of tutus to mind-boggling bubbles
This Easter’s programme offers something to engage and delight children (and parents!) of all ages. From the sweet story Dogs Don’t Do Ballet, brought to life through puppets and ballet music; to a screening of the timeless 1964 film Mary Poppins, offering charming nostalgia that the whole family will enjoy.
The school holidays may be coming round once again, but the learning can continue with Rude Science (almost sold out!), which combines education with quite literally explosive comedy. The breathtaking dynamics of bubbles are also explored with The Amazing Bubble Man – dubbed the ‘greatest bubble show on earth’ by the San Francisco Chronicle.
For families on a budget, The Brick People’s creative LEGO® sessions are perfect at just £5 a head if you book in advance. There’s also traditional panto fun with the swashbuckling Treasure Island, great for energetic young families who love cheering the heroes and booing the villains. And if your little ones are still hungry for even more action, the ever-popular Dinosaur Adventure Live returns with a brand-new immersive story, guaranteed to be more roar-some than ever before!
