City Council by-election results

The residents of Little Baddow, Danbury and Sandon have voted in Steph Scott of the Conservative Party as their new Chelmsford City Councillor.

There had been a vacancy in the ward following the resignation of a sitting councillor.

The result was announced at 11:40am on Friday 6 May.

Results in full:

Sue Baker, Liberal Democrat: 480 votes
Stephen Edward Capper, Labour Party: 183 votes
Steph Scott, Conservative Party: 1,494 votes

Turnout: 33.42%
