Falcon Bowling Club chosen by English Indoor Bowling Association

The English Indoor Bowling Association (EIBA) invited Falcon Bowling Club to host the British Isles Indoor Bowling Championships, along with the Women's International Series and Men's International Series. The club successfully hosted the same event back in 2019 and is excited to be welcoming the players back.

Matches will be taking place across six playing rinks throughout the tournament and the club offers tiered spectator seating, so everyone will get a great view of the action! You’ll find welcoming members and friendly staff at the club, where you can purchase refreshments from the snack bar, restaurant, and licenced bar.

Councillor Natacha Dudley, Cabinet Member for an Active Chelmsford, says having tournaments of this level choosing to come to Chelmsford is a great achievement for the city:

“Hosting a national tournament is very exciting and we’re thrilled to welcome this prestigious event back to Chelmsford!

“Indoor bowls is a wonderful sport and has a great social element to it, too. If you’re curious about bowling, I encourage you to make the trip to the Falcon to see it at a professional level and get a feel for the sport – you might be inspired to have a go yourself!”
