Organisations invited to apply for Chelmsford Health Inequalities Grant
Applications are open for a new grant scheme supporting projects tackling the causes of health inequalities between communities in Chelmsford.
Chelmsford City Council is offering £75,000 in funding to support local organisations that help people and communities to improve their health. Applications for the Health Inequalities Grant are open until Monday 9 December.
Health inequalities are preventable discrepancies in the health of different community groups, such as variance in life expectancy or the onset of preventable diseases. These differences are influenced by factors like social deprivation, access to services, employment, education, behaviour, and social support.
