3foot and Fling teaser events announced

Organisers of the popular 3foot and Fling festivals have announced two mini teaser events will be coming to Central Park in March next year.

The organisers simply couldn’t wait to bring back their signature summer festivals, so they created these warm-up events to get the party started early!

3foot People Party

A mini party for little people and their big carers will be taking place in a big top in Central Park from Thursday 16 to Saturday 18 March 2023. The party offers a fantastic opportunity to relive those wonderful 3foot memories of past years or experience a taste of the festival for the very first time.

Varied activities will unleash your toddler’s creativity and get you in the mood for the main event coming to Hylands in summer 2023. Your mini party animal can expect fun-fuelled activities such as live music, shows, arts and crafts, face painting and storytelling. Details will be confirmed in early 2023.

Please note the event is aimed at preschool children, but older children may accompany their younger siblings on Saturday 18 March.

Tickets on sale now

Tickets are now on sale for 3foot People Party, with two sessions per day to choose from: 9.30am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 4.30pm. Tickets are £8 per person, £4 for under twos and £4 for accompanying siblings aged 6 to 15 (Saturday only). Book soon to avoid disappointment!

Hot and cold refreshments will be available to purchase at the event, or you’re welcome to bring a picnic on the day (please note glass is not permitted in Central Park). Toilets, baby feeding and baby changing facilities will be available. Accessible facilities will also be provided, though please note the nature of the site as a greenfield site.

Fling Cabaret Extravagasm

To give you a teaser of Fling’s much-missed festival, a warm-up Fling Cabaret Extravagasm will come to Central Park on the evening of Saturday 18 March 2023. A big top tent will feature a tantalizing variety of cabaret acts and live music, hosted by singer and comic, Dusty Limits, ‘The compere without compare.’ (The Stage).

Tickets are now on sale for over-16s only at £24 per person or £19 for concessions. Or indulge yourselves in a premium table for up to four people with a bottle of prosecco for £120! The event opens at 7pm and performances start from 8pm.

Hot and cold refreshments, including alcohol, will be available to purchase. Please note, alcohol is not allowed to be brought on site and no glass is permitted in Central Park. Toilets, including accessible toilets, will be available.

Main festivals return in July 2023

The main 3foot and Fling festivals will be returning in July 2023. In recent years, the pandemic has made it impossible to deliver these much-loved events. Now, they’ll be making a comeback with a bang! Further details will follow soon.
