ActivAte returns this summer

Three Children Are In A Sportscentre, They Are Smiling Holding Footballs And A Basketball

Children who are eligible for free school meals can register for a place on the Essex ActivAte holiday programme.

Eligible youngsters between the ages of 4 and 12 can be booked in for the free sessions running at Chelmsford Sport and Athletics Centre and South Woodham Ferrers Leisure Centre throughout the summer holidays.

What is ActivAte?

ActivAte is a holiday programme offering a fun-filled day of activities for children. There’s everything from team games, workshops to explore nutrition, and a chance to try different sports. Food will also be provided so there’s no need to bring a packed lunch.

The sessions start on Monday 25 July and will run until Thursday 25 August. Timings vary at each leisure centre.
