Hylands Estate in Chelmsford is hosting its first Asiana Wedding Fair on Sunday 13 March. The iconic bridal magazine stages events for couples to get to know sought-after venues and suppliers all over the UK. The fair is an exclusive event for a limited number of guests to have a VIP tour of Hylands and meet the estate’s weddings and events team.

Some of Britain’s top wedding suppliers have been picked to exhibit their services at the fair, including caterers, photographers, bridal wear designers, make-up artists, and cake suppliers. They’ll all be on hand to provide expert advice, free consultations and quotations to help couples bring their vision to life.

Hylands Estate is a popular venue for Asian weddings

The famous grade II* listed estate with its distinctive white villa and beautiful gardens is a stunning backdrop for any dream day and Hylands is an increasingly popular venue for Asian weddings.

One of the big advantages for many couples is that Hylands is hire only, which means that brides and grooms may customise their wedding as they wish rather than being tied into a set package.

There’s plenty of space at Hylands for the grandest of celebrations too. Hylands House has a range of opulent period rooms, and the elegant Grand Pavilion next to the house can comfortably accommodate 300 guests with space for structures like Mandaps and Nikkah staging. The Glade, a new licensed outdoor woodland wedding area will also be available from Spring 2022, giving couples the chance to get married in the gardens for the very first time.

New luxurious wedding suite

Another new feature is an exquisite wedding suite of four separate rooms on the first floor of Hylands House, giving bridal parties a luxurious place to get ready and relax while service providers and the professionals at Hylands get to work downstairs. Access to this newly-created suite is complimentary with venue hire and includes a bathroom and three large dressing rooms, each decorated with a horticultural theme linking them to the estate’s historic gardens.

Record wedding bookings in 2022

Hylands Estate has had record bookings in 2022 as the wedding industry gets back on track after nearly 2 years of disruption. If you’re thinking of a 2023 wedding and would like to find out more about what Hylands has to offer, book your free tickets to the Asiana wedding fair on 13 March. The event runs from 1pm until 6pm and parking at the estate is included.

If you’re thinking of a wedding at Hylands but you can’t make that date, call the Hylands team on 01245 605500 or email them at hylands@chelmsford.gov.uk to book a tour.
