Hylands Estate has been chosen as a finalist in the prestigious ‘Guides for Brides’ Customer Service Awards. The grade II* listed neoclassical villa has been selected in the ‘Stately Homes, Castles and Mansions’ category, which recognises exceptional service and support for couples at some of the UK’s most distinguished historic wedding venues. Other finalists include Hampton Court Castle, Carlton Towers, and Farnham Towers.

Awards recognise great customer service

This year’s awards will acknowledge the hard work of wedding venues and suppliers at a turbulent time for the industry. Hylands House manager Lorraine Thorne says it’s a fantastic achievement for her team.

"It’s been such a difficult couple of years for couples wanting to get married, and it’s wonderful to get through to the final round of the national Guides for Brides Awards 2022 based on the reviews we’ve had for our customer service during this time. I’m so proud of the Hylands team for providing such stunning service to match our exceptional venue.”

Wedding venues couples can rely on

Guides for Brides offers couples online advice and recommendations for the best wedding suppliers and venues. Their annual awards reward businesses that deliver outstanding service and customer satisfaction within the wedding industry.

Alison Hargreaves, the founder of Guides for Brides says the pandemic has shown that above all else, couples need venues they can rely on.

“The last two years have demonstrated the importance of booking wedding suppliers and a venue they can trust and will genuinely have their best interests at heart.”
