Monthly markets start up again on the third Sunday of the month

Farmers’ market returns to Hylands Estate this April

The historic estate welcomes independent stallholders and shoppers back to its monthly farmers’ market.

Around 25 traders selling locally grown, baked, brewed and hand-crafted products can be found at the Hylands monthly market. Look out for fresh bread, Essex honey, organic fruit and veg, smoked cheese and fish alongside original jewellery and handmade candles. The market has moved to the front of the neo-classical villa to give shoppers more space and a gorgeous backdrop for browsing. The estate’s famous rare-breed Suffolk Punch and Shire horses will also be on hand for new hour-long private carriage tours of Hylands Park for up to 6 people. Visit the Hawthorn Heavy Horses website to book.
